1. CHECK-IN TIME IS AFTER 2 P.M. CET
AND CHECK-OUT IS 10 A.M CET.
Where there are no guests occupying the property directly prior to a booking
every effort will be made to accommodate requests for an early check in.
Similarly, where no guests are arriving directly
after a booking, every effort will be made to meet
a request for a late check-out.
2. This is a NON SMOKING apartment.
3. Pets are not permitted in the apartment
under any conditions.
4. DAMAGE – the guest who has
signed below will be required to sign a credit card authorization form
on check-in at the apartment. Jonathan Marks will only debit the card
in the event of damage to the property or its contents beyond normal wear
and tear. Such debits, which are subject to a 3% credit card fee, will
be made once the cost of the damage has assessed. In all cases details
of the relevant costs will be forwarded to the guest by e-mail or fax.
Jonathan Marks or his representative must be notified of such breakages
and/or damage prior to check-out.
Jonathan Marks is not authorized to debit amounts greater than that paid
for the rental. Should the costs of replacement/repairs required be greater
than the full amount paid for the rental, the guest will be required to
make a claim against his/her personal insurance policy.
The keys to the apartment are security keys and are difficult and expensive
to replace. Therefore a charge of 150€ will automatically be made
per keys for any keys not returned or damaged.
Each party will be provided with two sets of keys.
5. All guests are required to be covered
by an insurance policy that includes a public liability clause. This will
protect guests against any damage caused to the apartment by a member
of the party. Such clauses are normally included within standard household
insurance policies
In addition, it is strongly advised that all guests are covered by a comprehensive
travel policy to include cancellation cover, medical insurance and personal
effects.
6. PAYMENT - An advance payment equal
to 50% of the rental rate is required to secure the reservation. The advance
payment will be applied toward the apartment rent. Please make payments
in the form of bank money orders or credit card payments (subject to a
3% Credit Card Fee). The advance
payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due seven (7)
days before your arrival date.
7. CANCELLATIONS
–
a) Up to twelve (12) weeks prior to the check-in date 40% of your initial
deposit (deposit is 50% of full rental amount) is refundable.
b) Between twelve (12) and six (6) weeks prior to the check-in date Jonathan
Marks reserves the right to debit the 50% balance due from cancelled guests
credit card.
c) This 50% balance will also be debited in the event of a no show/refusal
of payment on arrival.
Agreement to this contract serves as authorisation of
such a transaction
8. MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum number
of guests at the apartment is limited to six (6) persons.
THIS PROPERTY REQUIRES A SEVEN (7) NIGHT MINIMUM STAY.
9. If a rental is taken for less than seven days,
the guest will be charged the seven-night rate.
10. INCLUSIVE FEES -
Rates include a one-time linen-towel setup. Amenity fees are included
in the rental rate.
11. You are expected to avoid loud or
anti-social behaviour which may disturb other residents and neighbours.
12. The rental amount includes:
a) Free local calls to landlines within reason, such
as contacting local services. Excessive use, such
as contacting friends or relatives in Paris will be charged to the guest’s
credit card. In such circumstances, upon request, a copy of the relevant
phone bill will be forward to the guests.
b) Cleaning of the apartment prior to arrival and after departure.
c) Free high speed internet. Unfortunately, beyond providing the relevant
password we cannot assist
in configuring guest’s laptops.
13. Jonathan Marks owes the guest no
legal liability in the event of any:
a) Problems with the supply of utilities to the property.
b) Defect in respect of any equipment or machinery in the property
c) Loss damage or injury resulting from severe weather conditions, riot,
war, strikes or other matters beyond his control
d) Loss, damage or inconvenience to the guest if the property is destroyed
or significantly damaged prior to the start of the rental period. In such
circumstances offer a full refunds of sums previously paid in respect
of the rental period
e) Jonathan Marks’ liability to the guest shall in no circumstances
exceed the amount paid to Jonathan Marks for the rental period.
14. FALSIFIED
RESERVATIONS - Any reservation obtained under false pretense will
be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money,
and the party will not be permitted
to check-in.
16. WRITTEN
EXCEPTIONS - Any exceptions to
the above mentioned policies must be approved
in writing in advance. |
